Technical and Historical Notes

Answering the challenge presented by the Jenice units of the Space Revolutionary Army, the first real mobile suit produced by the Old Earth Federation was the DT-6800 Daughtress.  A variant of this, the DT-6800HM was altered with extra leg thrusters to allow it to move faster in an earth based environment, but it was capable of space operations as well.  This General purpose unit was used heavily in all combat regions early in the 7th Space War, but, as the new Gundams were introduced, were relegated to guards and rear-line duties near the end.  Because of this, at the end of the war, a large number of the Daughtress' survived the wars cataclysmic finale.  The Daughtress' are still in use by a multitude of forces both big and small.

[1]The Head and Hands are small targets , and are difficult to hit.  Therefore, even with a called shot, they are -3 to hit.

[2]Destroying the Head will disrupt the Daughtress' ability to receive radio signals and has a 50% chance of destroying the radar and laser tracking systems. This will eliminate the bonuses for Strike and Dodge.

[3]Depleting the MDC of the Main Body will disable the Daughtress.

[4]Destruction of the Backpack Thruster Unit will render the Daughtress incapable of flight.
