Technical and Historical Notes

The MAN-002 Febral Mobile Armor was one of the smaller mobile armors developed by the Space Revolutionary Army during the 7th Space War, and was first deployed  in the final climactic battle of that war.  Piloted by Newtype Lancerow Dowell, it was developed to dominate whatever the Earth Federation had produced for it's Newtype pilots.  Unfortunately the SRA was wrong in this estimation, and the GX-9900 Gundam X survived the attack.  Both units were shattered, however, each pilot believing they had destroyed their foe.

The Febral is extremely agile, and was specifically designed for space combat, however it functions quite well in gravity as well.  The units unique weapons designs, 5 Beam Guns on the 'hand' instead of fingers, makes it especially deadly in the hands of a Newtype.

It is unknown exactly how many Febral's were built, but none are believed to have survived the 7th Space War.

[1]The Head is a small target , and is difficult to hit.  Therefore, even with a called shot, it is -2 to hit.

[2]The Head Sensor Unit (located in fins on either side of the head) is very small and extremely difficult to hit.  Therefore, even with a called shot, they are -3 to hit.  Destroying the Head Sensor Unitwill disrupt the Febral's ability to send and receive Radio signals and will cripple the Radar and Laser Tracking systems. This will eliminate the bonuses for Strike and Dodge.

[3]Depleting the MDC of the Main Body will disable the Febral.
